| Notes: The
Kootenay Men's Choir released their second compact disc/tape to commemorate 100
years of Doukhobors in Canada. Members of the choir, all descendants of the Doukhobors
that emigrated from Csarist Russia to Canada in 1899, were compelled to undertake
this project in order to contribute to this milestone . The hymns and folksongs
on this release are selections that the choir has sung and performed during the
period from 1995, the year they released their first CD /tape production, to the
present, under the directorship of Alex Cheveldave and Russel Verigin.
