Unaccompanied by musical instruments the unique melodies of the Doukhobor people will enrich your soul. The numbers rendered in this record are sung from the heart of every member of each choral group.

Holding high the banner of "Toil and Peaceful Life," the Doukhobor people recently set a goal of establishing a Cultural Centre in which cultural events could be held for the benefit of all people in the Kootenay and Boundary areas. Through the unity and effort of many people the Brilliant Cultural Centre is a reality. Although it is currently used for many functions, there are still several areas not constructed and equipped for the maximum utilization of the people.

With this in mind, our six organized choirs have released this album to contribute funds for the completion of the centre. In obtaining this record for your personal pleasure you are an active supporter of this cultural facility which will he used by many people.
