The above Doukhobor Choir was formed originally in 1948. During it's thirty years of existence, it has performed many times at Doukhobor and other Ethnic Folk Festivals throughout the entire province of British Columbia. The Choir has also made several tours of Doukhobor Centres in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Members of the Choir took part in the Montreal World Exposition in 1967 as well as in the Spokane World Exposition in 1974. This is the fourth record the Choir has made and being - that side one is comprised entirely of new hymns composed by members of the Choir. |
