The Doukhobor Discovery Centre (DDC) is a public museum operated by the Kootenay Doukhobor Historical Society, a charitable non-profit group which relies on public and private grants and other revenue generating activities so that the museum can be operated and maintained at high standards for the best possible experience.

The DDC was constructed entirely through grants, donations and volunteer labour. Much of the material used to construct the Main Dom (Communal Dwelling) is reclaimed from original villages, and the artifacts are all donated from original villages and Doukhobor families. Without such generosity the Doukhobor Discovery Centre would not exist.

Cash or cheque donations can be made in person at the Doukhobor Discovery Centre Gift Shop. Cheques can also be made out and mailed to:

Online and credit card donations can be made via PayPal. Donating online is easy, quick, secure and, should you wish to make a donation using your credit card, does not require registration of a PayPal account. We offer tax receipts for donations over $25 received via PayPal.
